Hi, I'm Shivani.
An engineer, then a mumma, then a coach. In that order.
Why I do this
When I started my page five years ago, the only agenda was to help first-time parents feel less alone. Then my daughter arrived and I learnt how little of what I knew prepared me for a toddler who would not eat, would not sleep, and hid things from me because she was scared of disappointing me.
So I studied. Nutrition first, because the food battles were the loudest. Then parenting and child development, because the food battles were never really about food. Then NLP, because the moments I lost my calm had nothing to do with her.
How I got here
The page begins
Started sharing what worked at home for new mums and dads.
Certified in nutrition
Qualified as a child nutritionist. Feeding was where most parents wanted help first.
NLP, and the first parents
Trained as an NLP practitioner and coach, and opened one-on-one consultations.
100k parents
The page crossed a hundred thousand followers. Same reason I started it, just more of you.
Writing for Penguin
Featured on Penguin Random House India.
The One Rhythm Program
Built the ten-day program. Featured in The Better India, Kokuyo Camlin and Google creator work.
Three things I will never compromise on
Connection, not control
Children cooperate when they feel safe and seen, not when they are managed.
Boundaries, without shame
I still say no. I just don't make my daughter feel small for needing it.
Your calm comes first
Children borrow our emotions more than our advice. The work starts with you.
